The Brizzolari firm was founded in 1950, when Mr. Francesco Brizzolari decided to set up his own company thanks to his experience in the textile industry.
For fifteen years this new handicraft firm carried on its own activity based on the production of braiding items, stripes for military uniforms, decorations and fringes for ecclesiastical use.

In the early 1970s the firm, which was very attentive to the evolving needs of the market, gradually turned its energies towards the production of decorative ribbons, and introduced techniques of plastics production and manufacturing beside its original textile technology.
